Donnie & Catherine have been serving with the Faith Mission for more than twenty years. They have had responsibility for the oversight of The Highland District since 2005. As well as the whole of the Highland Region this district also includes the Kintyre Peninsula, all the Islands on the west and the Orkney Isles, and stretches to Lossiemouth on the east. They commenced their Bible College training in 1996. Before this, Donnie worked as a plant operator and his wife Catherine was a midwife.

Gospel events are the main thrust of Faith Mission work in the Highland District. These could take the form of Tent Missions, a series of church based Gospel meetings, or follow up weekend missions in neutral venues.

Their vision is to reach out to more people in rural areas and see the Gospel making an impact, particularly among those who never or seldom go to church. Gospel tent missions, started in 2012, are yielding fruit. However, they would like to see personnel and resources strengthened to so that they can respond to the various requests for missions. The Youth Weekend in February, as well as Summer Camps underline the importance of fellowship and teaching for younger people.
