The Mission leadership has designated Friday 14 November as a day of prayer. We encourage you to join
with others and use the prayer points below as a guide.
PRAISE
• Give thanks for God’s favour and faithfulness.
• Praise the Lord for many people who have trusted Him as Saviour, especially in recent months.
• Thank God for opportunities in every aspect of the Mission’s ministry to share the Gospel.
• Give praise for all who serve in the Mission family.
PRAYER
• Pray for our nation in all its spiritual need and for God to move in revival. (2 Chron 7 v 14)
• Remember the Board and Mission Council as they seek God’s wisdom and direction. (James 1 v 5)
• Pray that God will clearly call those to serve at the Durrow Centre, both in ministry and also practically.
• Ask the Lord to empower Mission members as they reach out with the Gospel. (Acts 1 v 8)
• Pray for those called by God to train at FMBC and for the College staff and students. (Isaiah 6 v 8)
• Pray that God will call someone as the leader of FMBC, with a strengthened focus on training and evangelism.
• Ask the Lord to guide those facing a change of role or District, following recent leadership decisions. (Psalm 32 v 8)
• Remember those working in the Bookshops as they have opportunity to share the Gospel. (Isaiah 50 v 4)
• Pray for increased sales and interest in Christian literature through the shops, and for new ways to connect with people on the high street.
• Pray for new openings to share the Gospel. (Col 4 v 3)
