Faith Mission Bible College
For more than 110 years the Faith Mission Bible College has been equipping men and women from all over the world for a wide variety of Christian ministries. As well as those who go on to work within The Faith Mission itself, others are serving with mission organisations and in local pastoral ministry.
We believe that preparation for Christian work needs to be unashamedly based on the Bible, God’s Word, and our course is thoroughly biblical and theological, providing – an overview of the Bible, detailed exegesis of individual books, Biblical and systematic theology, Church history, Christian ethics, world religions, missiology, homiletics.

Delighted to see that Rev Dr Matt Baines, who taught at FMBC from 2020-23, has been appointed as a Lecturer in Systematic Theology at Sydney Missionary & Bible College.
Matt was a well-loved lecturer at FMBC and we wish him and the family the Lord’s richest blessing in this new season of ministry at SMBC!

What’s the greatest need facing the church today?
The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.
We urgently need Christians who are willing to give themselves to full-time gospel service — men and women who will proclaim Christ, share the gospel, and serve the church and the world with courage, compassion and conviction.
At The Faith Mission Bible College, we are passionate about training the next generation of evangelists.
That is why we launched the Evangelist Training Scholarship — a full tuition scholarship for up to two years, with up to 10 places available.

Edinburgh Convention 2026 is taking place at The Faith Mission Bible College from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July!
This year’s theme is “Moving Forward, Being Transformed”, with Bible teaching from Jim Lyons, Pastor of Coleraine Congregational Church, and Derek Maxwell, General Director of Slavic Gospel Association UK.
Alongside the main meetings, there will be provision for children and young people, including Creche, Kids’ Zone, Invigorate for 12–15s, and Rejuvenate for 16–25s.
Accommodation and meals are also available to book, including limited accommodation on the Bible College grounds.
We’d love to welcome you to Edinburgh for a few days of Bible teaching, fellowship, encouragement, and prayer.

Do you ever think, “God wouldn’t call someone like me”?
Too old. Too young. Too weak. Too ordinary. Too much has happened. Too many limitations.
But throughout the Bible, God makes a habit of working through weak people and weak things.
He chooses what is foolish in the world to shame the wise. He uses what is weak in the world to shame the strong.
Why?
Because that is how His glory is best displayed.
If God is calling you to serve Him, your weakness does not disqualify you. It may be the very place where His grace will be seen most clearly.
