Mervyn Carter

Pastor Mervyn Carter is originally from Co. Laois. After studying at The Faith Mission Bible College, he worked with The Faith Mission for a number of years before accepting the call to be pastor of Raphoe Congregational Church, Donegal where he has been for over 25 years. Mervyn is married to Kathy and they have two grown up daughters.

Trevor Gillanders

Pastor Trevor Gillanders grew up in Monaghan. As well as spending a number of years with The Faith Mission in Co. Cork, Trevor’s ministry has involved evangelism and church work. He currently lives in Northern Ireland where he is the pastor of Cullybackey Elim Church. He is married to Esther and they have two adult sons & enjoy spending time with grandchildren.

Meals & Accommodation

A limited number of chalets are available for booking on site at The Carhue Centre.
(Bring your own bedding) Cost for the weekend:

€120 pps includes accommodation and meals
€15 per day per caravan / tent (including breakfast)
€10 per adult meal (Pre-book) €5 per child meal

Friday Tea 6pm
Saturday Dinner 1pm
Sunday Dinner 1pm
Monday Dinner 1pm
Numbers will be limited so please book early!

There is no charge for these meals

Something for all ages

A crèche room is also available with a video link for anyone who wants to take preschool children along.

There will be Children’s clubs running simultaneously to the Convention Meetings for National School age children:

Sports Club: Saturday and Monday at 11.00am
Bible & Craft Clubs: Saturday 3.3opm, Sunday 4.00pm, Monday 3.00pm
Missionary Clubs: Friday 8.00pm, Saturday 7.30pm, Sunday 7.30pm
