Project Description
Robert & Phillipa Cismas have recently joined The Faith Mission and will be working from Newton Stewart. They have four children: Nathan, Keziah, Jerusha and Joel.
Prior to working with The Faith Mission, they were missionaries in Botswana (8 years), where they were involved in pioneer missionary outreach in Nata and the surrounding areas.
They tell us: “We are involved in running the Newton Stewart Camp Centre, which involves running meetings, either evangelistic or for the benefit of Christians in the area, making the facilities available to other Christian groups, running children’s outreach programmes, preaching in churches, schools’ ministry, supporting our district’s Prayer Unions and other opportunities for service and evangelism.”
Their vision for the area is: “We pray that we may reach people with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and see them come to know Jesus for themselves and find eternal life, both locally and in the wider Dumfries and Galloway region. We also want to be an encouragement to Christians, for a deeper walk with Christ and a greater knowledge of God in their lives.”
