Reuben & Debs Hutchinson are based with the SEED team specifically in Ipswich and also Earl Stonham. Their main role is working with, supporting and serving at Leighton Road Evangelical Church which is based on the Gainsborough Estate. They are involved in work within the church congregation itself week to week, but also using the church building as outreach for the estate and schools nearby.
Alongside James and Katie Brown they are involved in community drop ins, mums and tots groups and primary school clubs. Reuben is preaching regularly at Leighton Road as well as being involved in all the other clubs and events that Debs is involved in too. They also are involved in the work at Earl Stonham Centre. Reuben used to be a builder / labourer in Lancashire before joining FMBC and Debs left her role as Room Manager in a private nursery for 0-5 year olds to pursue life in ministry.
They say: “Our passion while we are here at Leighton Road is to see lives totally transformed. There is a huge variety of needs among the people we know and love here on the estate, and we long for them to see Jesus for who He is and allow Him to totally transform them. May God be glorified on the Gainsborough Estate!”
