Mervyn &
Rachel Tomb

Mervyn & Rachel have been working with the Faith Mission since 1996, and have been based in Co.Durham, Co.Cork and now in Co.Laois. They have two teenage children who also get involved in many of the practical aspects of the work at the Durrow Centre. Mervyn was an engineer and Rachel was a secretary – skills which God has used in His Work.

The area of focus includes most of the Irish Midlands, from the Border counties to Wexford and across to Tipperary. There is much scope for children’s and youth work, with families being prepared to travel, bringing their children to the various residential events planned throughout the year. School assemblies and regular children’s clubs complement the work, introducing many new children to the message of the Bible. There is potential for church services and many Sundays are used for the preaching of God’s Word.

The vision is for more passionate capable men and women to be equipped to bring the Gospel to many of the untouched areas of the Republic of Ireland.
